Many dental insurance plans cover orthodontics, but the coverage is often separate from other dental services. Understanding the details of your plan and payment options is important. In most cases there is no major difference between the lifetime maximums for in- and out-of-network services for orthodontics. If you have questions, contact your insurance provider to find out about age limitations and lifetime maximums.
